Dumpster rental in Highland for contractors and homeowners

Bear Services drops 15 and 30 yard roll off bins on Highland jobs from our yard in north Orem, about 10 miles away, and swaps them when your crew texts. Every load is billed on what it actually weighs.

Highland jobs we haul for

Highland keeps building, from new subdivisions to custom homes, additions and basement finishes. We drop bins for builders, framers, roofers, remodelers and landscapers, plus homeowners doing a big cleanout. If it's debris from a jobsite or a house you're working on, it can go in one of our bins.

The yard at 581 W 1600 N in Orem is about 10 miles from Highland, so we can usually get a bin to a Highland job quickly and swap it when your crew texts.

Pick a size

15 yard

12 ft × 7½ ft × 5½ ft, 12,000 lb limit. Handy for finish work, cleanouts, unit turnovers and tight lots.

30 yard

22 ft × 7½ ft × 6 ft, 24,000 lb limit. The usual pick for framing scrap, roofing and demo.

The 15 fits most driveways and finish work. The 30 is the usual pick for new construction, roofing, demo and big cleanouts. Not sure which one you need? Call or text (801) 785-4494 with what's going in and dispatch will size it.

Billed on what the load weighs

Delivery and removal includes the first ton. Past that, you pay the scale weight of what's in the bin, so a load of framing scrap costs less than a load of shingles. We can bill that way because every load goes to the Five Mile Pass C&D landfill, which our parent company Dunn Companies owns. You get 14 days on site before a daily fee starts.

Contractor accounts and standing swaps

Running more than one Highland job? Open a contractor account once and our office calls you to set up billing. After that, ordering is a call or a text, and a standing rotation means the bin gets swapped on schedule without anyone having to remember.

Placing a bin in Highland

A jobsite, gravel pad or driveway needs no street permit, as long as the truck has a straight, fairly level run of about 60 feet to set the bin. Highland's code is strict about streets: anything that blocks a street, gutter, sidewalk or trail needs City Council permission first, and using part of a street while you build or repair next to it takes a council permit. From December 1 to March 31, street parking is banned from midnight to 8am and any time snow is present, and the city asks residents to keep things like trailers and trash cans off the street during snow removal. Before a bin goes on a Highland street, call Highland City Engineering at (801) 772-4515, Monday through Thursday.

Checked against Highland's municipal code in November 2026. See street permit rules for every city we serve.

Loading concrete, shingles or anything you're unsure about? Read what can go in a dumpster first. Working nearby? See Alpine, American Fork and Lehi.

Highland questions

Questions Highland customers ask

Anything not covered here, call or text (801) 785-4494 and you'll get a straight answer from someone who works here.

How fast can you get a dumpster to a Highland job?

Highland is about 10 miles from our yard in north Orem. Call or text (801) 785-4494 with the address and dispatch will give you the earliest open slot.

How much does a dumpster cost in Highland?

Delivery and removal includes the first ton, and the rest is billed on the scale weight of the load instead of a flat rate. Send the address and dispatch will quote the Highland price.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Highland?

Not on a jobsite or your own driveway. Highland's code says anything that blocks a street, gutter, sidewalk or trail needs City Council permission first, and from December 1 to March 31 street parking is banned from midnight to 8am and any time snow is present. Call Highland City Engineering at (801) 772-4515 before a bin goes on the street.

Can a bin stay out through the winter in Highland?

Yes, as long as it sits on the jobsite or in a driveway where the truck can reach it. Highland bans street parking from midnight to 8am December 1 to March 31 and any time snow is present, so keeping the bin off the street keeps it out of the plows' way.

What time do you drop off and pick up?

Between 7am and 7pm. Our drivers stick to those hours so jobs near homes stay quiet early in the morning and at night.
