Dumpster rental in Provo for contractors and property managers

Bear Services runs Provo jobsites from our yard in north Orem, about 15 minutes away. 15 and 30 yard roll off bins, swapped when your crew needs them, billed on what the load actually weighs.

Provo jobs we haul for

In Provo we drop bins for builders, remodelers, roofers and property managers: new homes and infill lots, unit turnovers in apartments and student housing, tenant improvements in office and retail space, roofing tear offs and demolition. If it's debris from a jobsite or a building you manage, it can go in one of our bins.

The yard at 581 W 1600 N in Orem is about 10 miles from downtown Provo, roughly a 15 minute run. That keeps drops and swaps quick whether the job is downtown, near BYU, out by Riverwoods and East Bay, or in the newer neighborhoods on the west side.

Pick a size

15 yard

12 ft × 7½ ft × 5½ ft, 12,000 lb limit. Handy for finish work, unit turnovers and tight lots.

30 yard

22 ft × 7½ ft × 6 ft, 24,000 lb limit. The usual pick for framing scrap, roofing and demo.

The 15 takes up less room on a tight lot or in a parking area, which matters near campus. Not sure which one you need? Call or text (801) 785-4494 with what's going in and dispatch will size it.

Billed on what the load weighs

Delivery and removal includes the first ton. Past that, you pay the scale weight of what's in the bin, so a load of framing scrap costs less than a load of shingles. We can bill that way because every load goes to the Five Mile Pass C&D landfill, which our parent company Dunn Companies owns. You get 14 days on site before a daily fee starts.

Contractor accounts and standing swaps

Running more than one Provo job, or managing a building that fills a bin every week? Open a contractor account once and our office calls you to set up billing. After that, ordering is a call or a text, and a standing rotation means the bin gets swapped on schedule without anyone having to remember.

Placing a bin in Provo

On a jobsite or private lot you don't need a permit. The truck needs a straight, fairly level run of about 60 feet to set the bin, and gravel or dirt is fine. If the bin has to sit on a city street, check with Provo City before delivery, since most cities in Utah County want a right of way permit for a container on the road. Streets and parking near campus get tight, so tell dispatch about the spot and we'll plan the drop.

Provo questions

Questions Provo customers ask

Anything not covered here, call or text (801) 785-4494 and you'll get a straight answer from someone who works here.

How fast can you get a dumpster to a Provo jobsite?

Provo is roughly 15 minutes from our yard in Orem, so we can usually get there quickly. Call or text (801) 785-4494 with the address and dispatch will give you the earliest open slot.

How much does a dumpster cost in Provo?

Delivery and removal includes the first ton, and the rest is billed on the scale weight of the load instead of a flat rate. Rates depend on the city, so send the jobsite address and dispatch will quote the Provo price.

Can you swap a bin on a schedule for a Provo property?

Yes. Tell dispatch how often the bin fills and we'll set up a standing rotation, so it gets swapped before it overflows.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Provo?

Not on a jobsite or private property. If the bin has to go on a city street, check with Provo City first, since a right of way permit is normally required for a container on the road.
