Bin sizes
Bear Services runs two sizes. Here are the real dimensions and weight limits for each, plus which one fits your job.
12 feet long, 7½ feet wide and 5½ feet high, with a 12,000 lb weight limit. It's the bin for finish work like drywall, trim and flooring, kitchen and bath remodels, cleanouts, landscaping and small builds. It also takes up less room on a tight lot.
22 feet long, 7½ feet wide and 6 feet high, with a 24,000 lb weight limit. It's the jobsite standard for framing scrap, siding, roofing tear offs, demolition, big cleanouts and commercial volume.
12 ft × 7½ ft × 5½ ft, 12,000 lb limit. Finish work, remodels, cleanouts and landscaping.
22 ft × 7½ ft × 6 ft, 24,000 lb limit. Framing, roofing, demo and commercial volume.
Either size needs a straight, fairly level run of about 60 feet for the truck to set the bin. A driveway, gravel pad or dirt lot all work.
Delivery and removal includes the first ton, and the rest is billed on the scale weight of the load instead of a flat rate. Every load goes to the Five Mile Pass C&D landfill owned by our parent company Dunn Companies. Each bin gets 14 days on site before a daily fee starts. For what's allowed in the bin, see what can go in a dumpster.

A Bear Services 15 yard bin is 12 feet long, 7½ feet wide and 5½ feet high, with a 12,000 lb weight limit.
Our 30 yard bin is 22 feet long, 7½ feet wide and 6 feet high, with a 24,000 lb weight limit.
Most roofing tear offs go in the 30 yard. Shingles are heavier than they look, so pack them level and keep the load below the top of the bin.
12,000 lb in the 15 yard and 24,000 lb in the 30 yard. Light debris fills the bin long before that, while concrete, brick and dirt hit the limit with the bin only a few feet full.
